  • Brand Ambassador

    Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

    Overview:

    Music City Food Service, an Authorized Local Purveyor of the Boar's Head Brand, is looking for energetic and approachable individuals with a passion for culinary sales. 

    This position is full time with a 45 hour work week. Typical shifts will be 8:30am to 6 pm (with 30 minute lunch daily).

    The Brand Ambassador is responsible for presenting/sampling Boar’s Head products to consumers in a retail store or food show environment, pro-actively engaging customers. The ultimate objective is to promote and educate the consumer on various Boar’s Head products.


    Job Description:

    Responsibilities: Knowledge of Boar’s Head products, inclusive of flavor, nutritional information, and complimentary products (training provided). Willingness to engage customers and actively promote the Boar’s Head brand. Experience with food preparation is helpful.


    Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to different retail locations.

    Some merchandising required.

    Ability to transport and set-up a folding table, utensils, platters, etc. Willingness to operate a slicer (training provided). Must exhibit good food safety and sanitation practices at all times. Close interaction with consumers. Use of smartphone required to turn in reports on events conducted each shift. Be energetic and possess a serving attitude.


    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent

  • Delivery Merchandiser

    Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

    Overview:

    The Delivery Merchandiser plays a key role in developing new customer relationships while maintaining service levels with existing customer base and is responsible for customer deliveries, warehouse operations, and in-store activities for our retail and foodservice customers. We are looking for individuals with a passion for providing excellent customer service and excel working both independently and as a member of a team. This role requires a flexible schedule with occasional weekend work and start times as early as 430 am.


    Job Description:

    Responsibilities: Delivery of perishable goods to customers

    Itemized check in of delivered goods with customer representative

    Complete merchandising resets, rotate product according to FIFO, fill displays, check tags

    Complete assigned Go-Spot-Check missions

    Collect payments and close invoices with retail stores

    Communicate with sales team any opportunities

    Monitor truck maintenance schedule and coordinate necessary maintenance

    Cleaning and sanitation at stores, at warehouse, inside and outside of delivery vehicles

    Continuously cultivate relationships with customer by actively engaging with deli management and personnel to understand their customer base, evolving product or training needs, and specific opportunities/challenges

    Receive product delivery internally with warehouse team

    Help warehouse team pull and price orders

    Complete additional activities or special projects as assigned


    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent; including basic math and reasoning

    Ability to speak and read English

    1+ years of experience as Delivery Merchandiser or 3 years of experience in a customer service, sales, warehouse or similar role

    Successful mastery of Delivery Merchandising essential functions and requirements

    Valid driver’s license and clean driving record - CDL preferred but not required

    We deliver on Ft. Campbell at the commissary. Must be able to go through background check at base in order to make the delivery.

    Basic computer skills

    Use of phone apps such as GoSpotCheck and WorkPlace.


    Physical Requirements

    Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours

    Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl

    Job description:

    Unique foodservice sales position with an exclusive Premium Food Brand Distributor. Ideal candidate is a dynamic and polished, relationship driven professional with a knowledge and passion for food and foodservice industry. Position involves daily interaction with various foodservice establishments and operators with a focus on product penetration and Branding.


    Responsibilities:

    Responsible for generating opportunities within Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky by researching potential accounts.

    Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects.

    Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products.

    Responsible for performing weekly selling events (demos) of products in foodservice accounts or associations.

    Maintaining a sales call balance of new branded business opportunities along with current business retention and expansion.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum 3 years of successful street sales experience in a foodservice B2B (business-to-business) environment.

    Representing a premium or luxury brand experience may be a plus, though not required.

    Culinary experience may be a plus, though not required. Individuals with culinary experience, strong relationship capabilities, and excellent follow up process are usually well-suited for this position.

    Experience in a similar or relevant, route-to-market process, such as Direct Store Delivery environments are usually well-suited for this position.

    Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as a high level of Internet savvy are required.

    Working knowledge of CRM systems.

    College degree preferred or equivalent 3-5 successful sales or sales management experience. A broad understanding of basic mathematical functions, including weights and measures. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, leadership, planning, and organizational skills. Sales personality that demonstrates patience and persistence for the sales process. Ability to manage a large geographical area required. Ability to represent the brand internally and externally, and be able to stand behind our company vision process.     Complete bi-weekly customer inventory

    Create bi-weekly orders based on established inventory levels

    Check product freshness, sell-by-dates, complete 10 Day List form, engage management on shrink reducing solutions.

    Pull expired product, create out of date memos, and issue customer credits

    Complete merchandising resets and recommend opportunities for cross merchandising

    Responsible for keeping accurate and current signage in all locations

    Knowledge of sales trends in each store


    Brand Coach:

    Complete 1 on 1 training with customer’s employees including exceptional customer service, product knowledge, product parings, slicing technique, sanitation, etc.
